What this service is

Site Studio is a private website-editing tool operated by the site owner ("the operator") for their clients and collaborators. It is not a public service. Access is by invitation and can be changed or withdrawn by the operator at any time.

Your account

• Keep your password private. Everything done while signed in to your account is treated as done by you.
• Your edits and submissions are recorded under your name (including in the site's change history) so it is always clear who changed what.
• Your email address is used to verify your account, recover access, and for messages about work on the sites — nothing else. It is never sold or shared.

Your content and conduct

• Only edit sites you've been given access to, and only upload content you have the right to use (no copyrighted material without permission, nothing unlawful, deceptive, or harmful).
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you submit. Submissions may be reviewed, approved, rejected, or removed by the operator.
• Content of other clients' sites is confidential. You only see the sites you were granted; do not attempt to access anything else.

What we store, and where

• Stored data: your account name and email, a securely hashed password (never the password itself), which sites you may open, your edits and submissions, and a log of account activity (sign-ins, submissions, approvals) kept for security and accountability.
• Data lives on the operator's own encrypted computer and in the operator's backups — not with third parties. Connections between your browser and the service are encrypted (HTTPS).
• You can ask the operator to correct or delete your account at any time; published website content may remain part of a site's history.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss of data, loss of work, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of (or inability to use) the service — even if advised of the possibility. Backups are made in good faith but are best-effort; keep your own copies of anything critical. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.

Eligibility & indemnity

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and authorized to act for any business whose site you edit.
• You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit or your breach of these terms.

Governing law & disputes

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and apply to users in any state or country to the fullest extent permitted by the law that applies to you. If your local law grants rights that cannot be waived, those rights are unaffected.
• Before any legal action, both sides agree to try to resolve disputes informally with the operator within 30 days. Unresolved disputes are settled by binding individual arbitration or small-claims court in Utah — no class actions and, where permitted, no jury trial.
• Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the events giving rise to it, where the law allows such a limit.

General

• If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect (severability), and the unenforceable part is applied to the maximum extent the law allows.
• These terms are the entire agreement about the service and replace any earlier understandings. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else; the operator may assign them to a successor of the business.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the version date above changes when they are. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions go to the operator.
